                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:21 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Ms. Niland, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 4626. An act to restore the application of the Federal 
     antitrust laws to the business of health insurance to protect 
     competition and consumers.

  At 5:57 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Ms. Niland, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 4691. An act to provide a temporary extension of 
     certain programs, and for other purposes.

  At 7:40 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House 
agrees to the amendments of the Senate to the bill (H.R. 3961) to amend 
title XVIII of the Social Security Act to reform the Medicare SGR 
payment system for physicians and to reinstitute and update the Pay-As-
You-Go requirement of budget neutrality on new tax and mandatory 
spending legislation, enforced by the threat of annual, automatic 
sequestration.
