        HONORING AND PRAISING THE NAACP ON ITS 101ST ANNIVERSARY

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate now 
proceed to H. Con. Res. 242.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the concurrent 
resolution by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 242) honoring and 
     praising the National Association for the Advancement of 
     Colored People on the occasion of its 101st anniversary.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
measure.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent 
resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, the motions to 
reconsider be laid upon the table, with no intervening action or 
debate, and any statements relating to this matter be printed in the 
Record.
