inventories component of GDP is stated at annual rates.

\3\ Quarterly totals at monthly rates. Final sales of domestic business equals final sales of domestic product less gross value added of households and
institutions and of general government and includes a small amount of final sales by farm and by government enterprises.

Note.--The industry classification of inventories is on an establishment basis. Estimates for 1990 through 1995 are based on the 1987 Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC). Beginning with 1996, estimates are based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
