EFFECTIVE DATE: April 6, 1994. Postponement On December 2, 1993, the Department of Commerce (Department) initiated antidumping duty investigations of silicomanganese from Brazil and Venezuela. On March 25, 1994, Elkem Metals Company and the Oil, Chemical & Atomic Workers Local 3-639 (petitioners), requested that the Department postpone its preliminary determinations until June 10, 1994, in order to allow the Department to consider and act upon the sales-below-cost allegations submitted by petitioners, and to further evaluate the deficiencies in respondents' questionnaire responses.
