Smoke Detection, Penetration, and Evacuation Tests and Related 
Flight Manual Emergency Procedures

AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration, DOT.

ACTION: Notice of issuance of advisory circular.

SUMMARY: This notice announces the issuance of Advisory Circular (AC) 
25-9A, Smoke Detection, Penetration, and Evacuation Tests & Related 
Flight Manual Emergency Procedures. This AC provides guidance for the 
conduct of certification tests relating to smoke detection, 
penetration, and evacuation, and to evaluate related AFM procedures.

DATES: Advisory Circular 25-9A was issued by the Manager, Transport 
Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service, ANM-100, on 
January 6, 1994.
