Open May 20, 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Closed for remainder of meeting. Purpose: This panel is charged with conducting the initial review of health services research training grant applications from educational institutions, individuals, or organizations for Federal support to ensure that highly-trained scientific personnel will be available in adequate numbers and in the appropriate research areas and fields to maintain the nation's health services research agenda. Agenda: The open session on May 20 from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. will be devoted to a business meeting covering administrative matters and reports. The closed session of the meeting will be devoted to a review of research training grant applications. In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Title 5, U.S.C., Appendix 2 and Title 5, U.S.C. 552b(c)(6), the Administrator, Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) has made a formal determination that this latter session will be closed because the discussions are likely to reveal personal information concerning individuals associated with applications.
