Title: National Flood Insurance Program Erosion Benefits. Abstract: FEMA regulations 44 CFR 63, Subpart B, sets forth procedures to be followed by State authorities for certification of structures subject to imminent collapse as a result of erosion or undermining caused by waves or current of water exceeding anticipated cyclincal levels. When a claim for flood insurance benefits is filed by an insured, the State is asked to collect data at the site of the threatened structure demonstrating that the condition of the structure meets criteria for certification that it is subject to imminent collapse. Such a certification is necessary for insured property owners to file claims for relocation or demolition benefits established under P.L. 100-242. Type of Respondents: State or local governments. Estimate of Total Annual Reporting and Recordkeeping Burden: 360 hours. Number of Respondents: 60. Estimated Average Burden Time per Response: 6 hours. Frequency of Response: One-Time.
