SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Office of Air and Radiation Title: New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for Magnetic Tape Coating Facilities (Subpart SSS)--Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements (EPA ICR No. 1135.05; OMB No. 2060-0171). This is a request for renewal of a currently approved information collection. Abstract: Owners or operators of magnetic tape coating facilities must provide EPA, or the delegated State regulatory authority, with one-time notifications and reports, and must keep records, as required of all facilities subject to the general NSPS requirements. In addition, facilities subject to this subpart must install a continuous monitoring system (CMS) to record continuously the concentration level of organic compounds in the outlet gas streams, and must notify EPA or the State regulatory authority of the date upon which demonstration of the CMS performance commences. Owners or operators must submit to EPA or the delegated authority quarterly excess emission reports or semiannual compliance reports. The notifications and reports enable EPA or the delegated State regulatory authority to determine that best demonstrated technology is installed and properly operated and maintained and to schedule inspections. Burden Statement: The public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 30 hours per response for reporting, and 160 hours per recordkeeper annually. This estimate includes the time needed to review instructions, search existing data sources, gather and maintain the data needed, and complete and review the collection of information. Respondents: Owners or operators of magnetic tape manufacturing facilities. Estimated Number of Respondents: 14. Estimated Number of Responses per Respondent: 4. Estimated Total Annual Burden on Respondents: 4,000 hours. Frequency of Collection: One-time notifications and reports for new facilities; quarterly or semiannually reporting for existing facilities. Send comments regarding the burden estimate, or any other aspect of the information collection, including suggestions for reducing the burden, to: Ms. Sandy Farmer, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Information Policy Branch (2136), 401 M Street, SW, Washington, DC 20460. and Mr. Chris Wolz, Office of Management and Budget, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, 725 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20503.
