Norcross Mercury Spill Site; Notice of Proposed Settlement

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency.

ACTION: Notice of proposed settlement.

SUMMARY: Under Section 122(h) of the Comprehensive Environmental 
Protection Agency (EPA) has offered to potentially responsible party a 
Cost Recovery Agreement to settle claims for past and future removal 
actions at the Norcross Mercury Spill Site, Norcross, Georgia. EPA will 
consider public comments on the proposed settlement for thirty (30) 
days. EPA may withdraw from or modify the proposed settlement should 
such comments disclose facts or considerations which indicate the 
proposed settlement is inappropriate, improper, or inadequate. Copies 
of the proposed settlement are available from: Ms. Carolyn McCall, 
Waste Management Division, U.S. EPA, Region IV, 345 Courtland Street 
NE., Atlanta, Georgia 30365, 404/347-5059.
    Written comments may be submitted to Ms. McCall within 30 days of 
the date of publication.
