[Federal Register Volume 60, Number 23 (Friday, February 3, 1995)] [Notices] [Pages 6709-6710] From the Federal Register Online via the Government Publishing Office [www.gpo.gov] [FR Doc No: 95-2716] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY Office of Arms Control and Nonproliferation; Proposed Subsequent Arrangements Pursuant to Section 131 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2160), notice is hereby given of proposed ``subsequent arrangements'' under the Agreement for Cooperation between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada concerning Civil Uses of Atomic Energy, as amended, and the Agreement for Cooperation between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Republic of Korea concerning Civil Uses of Atomic Energy, as amended. The subsequent arrangements to be carried out under the above- mentioned agreements involves approval of the following retransfers: RTD/KO(CA)-3, for the transfer from Canada to the [[Page 6710]] Republic of Korea of 3,127.4 grams of uranium containing 617.7 grams of the isotope uranium-235 (19.75 percent enrichment) for use as fuel in the KMRR research reactor. RTD/KO(CA)-4, for the transfer from Canada to the Republic of Korea of 51,955.2 grams of uranium containing 10,250.8 grams of the isotope uranium-235 (19.73 percent enrichment) for use as fuel in the KMRR research reactor. In accordance with Section 131 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, it has been determined that these subsequent arrangements will not be inimical to the common defense and security.
