L. 94-409, that the Securities and Exchange Commission will hold the following meetings during the week of February 6, 1995. An open meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 1995, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 1C30. A closed meeting will be held on Friday, February 10, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. Commissioners, Counsel to the Commissioners, the Secretary to the Commission, and recording secretaries will attend the closed meeting. The General Counsel of the Commission, or his designee, has certified that, in his opinion, one or more of the exemptions set forth in 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4), (8), (9)(A) and (10) and 17 CFR 200.402(a)(4), (8), (9)(i) and (10), permit consideration of the scheduled matters at a closed meeting. Commissioner Wallman, as duty officer, voted to consider the items listed for the closed meeting in a closed session. The subject matter of the open meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 1995, at 10:00 a.m., will be: The Commission will consider the adoption of proposed rules 18f- 3 and 6c-10 under the Investment Company Act of 1940, and related rule and form amendments. Rule 18f-3 would allow mutual funds to issue multiple classes of shares, and form amendments would prescribe prospectus disclosure requirements for multiple class and master-feeder funds. Rule 6c-10 would allow mutual funds to impose back-end loads, including contingent deferred sales loads; the form amendment would clarify that prospectus disclosure requirements for deferred sales loads apply to all types of back-end loads. The Commission also will consider proposing for public comment amendments to rule 6c-10 to allow mutual funds to impose sales loads paid in one or more installments.
