Mississippi River Transmission Corp.; Notice of Cash Balance 
Report

February 2, 1995.
    Take notice that on January 30, 1995, Mississippi River 
Transmission Corporation (MRT), in compliance with the order of the 
Commission issued September 17, 1993 in MRT's Order No. 636 
restructuring proceeding,\1\ submits for filing a report providing 
information for the Commission to determine how MRT's cash balancing 
program operates and whether any modifications are necessary.

    MRT states that copies of the filing are being mailed to each of 
MRT's customers, the parties in Docket No. RS92-43-000, and the State 
of Commissions of Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 
20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.214 and 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should 
be filed on or before February 23, 1995. Protests will be considered by 
the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but 
will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any 
person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. 
Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available 
for public inspection in the public reference room.
