COMMISSION ON CIVIL RIGHTS

Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the Kansas Advisory 
Committee

    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that the Kansas 
Advisory Committee to the Commission will meet on Thursday, March 2, 
1995, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Student Union, Oak Room, 
Coffeyville Community College, 400 West 11th Street, Coffeyville, 
Kansas 67337. The purpose of the meeting is to collect information on 
civil rights issues in order to plan for future projects in Kansas.
    Persons desiring additional information, or planning a presentation 
to the Committee, should contact Melvin L. Jenkins, Director of the 
Central Regional Office, 816-426-5253 (TTY 816-426-5009). Hearing-
impaired persons who will attend the meeting and require the services 
of a sign language interpreter should contact the Regional Office at 
least five (5) working days before the scheduled date of the meeting.
    The meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the Commission.
