Pa.), entered into by the United States on behalf of U.S. EPA, the State of Ohio, and debtors Shenango Inc., Shenango Group, Inc., and The Hockensmith Corporation was lodged on March 16, 1994 with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The proposed Settlement Agreement resolves certain claims of the United States and the State of Ohio under the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. 9601 et seq. and state law relating to the Buckeye Reclamation Landfill Site in Belmont County, Ohio, and certain claims of the United States for pre-petition penalties under the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. Secs. 1251 et seq., and the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. 7401 et seq. Under the Settlement Agreement, inter alia, the U.S. EPA will have an allowed general unsecured claim of $1,252,846. The Department of Justice will receive comments relating to the proposed [[Page 16504]] Settlement Agreement for 30 days following the publication of this Notice.
