Take notice that on May 11, 1995, NorAm Gas Transmission Company (NGT), 1600 Smith Street, Houston, Texas 77002, filed in Docket No. CP95-494-000 a request pursuant to Section 157.205 of the Commission's Regulations to construct and operate a new delivery point to Arkla, a division of NorAm Energy Corp., to serve a rural residential customer in Coal County, Oklahoma under NGT's blanket certificate issued in Docket No. CP82-384-000, pursuant to Section 7 of the Natural Gas Act, all as more fully set forth in the request on file with the Commission and open to public inspection. NGT proposes to construct one 1-inch tap, valve setting and 1-inch regulator on NGT's Line 638 in Coal County, Oklahoma. NGT states that Arkla would install a meter and second cut regulator to provide service to a rural residential customer. The estimated volumes to be delivered through this tap are approximately 85 MMBtu of natural gas per year and 1 MMBtu of natural gas per day, it is indicated. NGT states that NGT would transport natural gas service to Arkla within Arkla's entitlements under NGT's tariffs. NGT states that the establishment of this delivery point is not prohibited by NGT's existing tariff and NGT has sufficient capacity to accomplish deliveries at this new delivery point without detriment or disadvantage to NGT's other customers. NGT states that the estimated cost to install these facilities is $1,800, which would be reimbursed by Arkla. Any person or the Commission's staff may, within 45 days after issuance of the instant notice by the Commission, file pursuant to Rule 214 of the Commission's Procedural Rules (18 CFR 385.214) a motion to intervene or notice of intervention and pursuant to Section 157.205 of the Regulations under the Natural Gas Act (18 CFR 157.205) a protest to the request.
