[Federal Register Volume 60, Number 99 (Tuesday, May 23, 1995)] [Notices] [Page 27282] From the Federal Register Online via the Government Publishing Office [www.gpo.gov] [FR Doc No: 95-12532] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY [Docket No. RP95-296-000] Williams Natural Gas Co.; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas Tariff May 17, 1995. Take notice that on May 12, 1995, Williams Natural Gas Company (WNG) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, First Revised Sheet No. 253. The proposed effective date of this tariff sheet is June 15, 1995. WNG states that the purpose of the instant filing is to amend Article 14 of the General Terms and Conditions of WNG's FERC Gas Tariff to provide for the extension of WNG's pricing differential mechanism (PDM) until October 1, 1997. The Commission has previously held that PDMs will continue for two years from the effective date of Order No. 636 restructuring. While WNG's FERC Gas Tariff does not explicitly so provide, WNG's PDM would expire on October 1, 1995. WNG states that a copy of its filing was served on all jurisdictional customers and interested state commissions. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed on or before May 24, 1995. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
