ACTION: Notice of public meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The North Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Council) Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will meet by teleconference. DATES: The teleconference will be held on August 17, 1995, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (Alaska Standard Time). SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of the meeting is to review the Environmental Assessment/Regulatory Impact Review of the proposed alternatives for trawl closure areas in Bristol Bay to protect red king crabs. An economic analysis has been incorporated into the revised draft document. If acceptable to the SSC, and, if there are only minor changes, the document will be released for public review on August 25, 1995, allowing for a minimum 30-day review period.
