Mississippi River Transmission Corporation; Notice of Compliance 
Filing

October 13, 1995.
    Take notice that on October 10, 1995, Mississippi River 
Transmission Corporation (MRT) submitted for filing to become part of 
its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff 
sheets listed below, to be effective October 1, 1995:

Substitute Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 5
Substitute Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 6
Substitute Eleventh Revised Sheet No. 7
Substitute Fourth Revised Sheet No. 8

    MRT states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with 
Ordering Paragraph (B) of the Commission's September 29, 1995 order by 
removing the Compressor Fuel Tax Surcharge from Sheet Nos. 5, 6, 7 and 
8.
    MRT states that a copy of the filing has been mailed to each of its 
customers and the State Commissions of Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois.
    Any person desiring to protest the subject filing should file a 
protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North 
Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rule 
211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 
385.211). All such protests should be filed on or before October 20, 
1995. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and available for public inspection.
