Announcement of Funding Awards for Fiscal Year 1994 for Veterans 
Affairs Supportive Housing

AGENCY: Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian 
Housing, HUD.

ACTION: Announcement of funding awards.

SUMMARY: In accordance with section 102(a)(4)(C) of the Department of 
Housing and Urban Development Reform Act of 1989, this document 
notifies the public of funding awards for Fiscal Year 1994 to housing 
agencies under the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) 
program. The purpose of this Notice is to publish the names and 
addresses of the award winners and the amount of the awards made 
available by HUD to fund rental assistance for veterans under the VASH 
program.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of the VASH program is to 
provide rental assistance to veterans with severe psychiatric or 
substance abuse disorders. The FY 94 awards announced in this notice 
were made under a competition announced in a Federal Register notice 
published on July 14, 1994 (59 FR 36008).
    A total of $18,260,990 of budget authority for rental vouchers was 
awarded to 19 recipients. In accordance with section 102(a)(4)(C) of 
the Department of Housing and Urban Development Reform Act of 1989 
(Pub. L. 101-235, approved December 15, 1989), the Department is 
publishing the names, addresses, and amounts of those awards as shown 
on Appendix A.
