ACTION: Notice to Solicit Public Comment on the Draft Management Plan for the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the Sanctuaries and Reserves Division (SRD), Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM), National Ocean Service (NOS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve Management Authority (RMA) have [[Page 9978]] made available the Draft Management Plan (DMP) for the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). This DMP sets forth the program missions, goals and objectives of the Wells NERR, and establishes policies that will protect the natural resources and ecological integrity of the Wells NERR. This management plan, when finalized, will replace, as an update the NERR's current management plan. The public comment period for the DMP ends 30 days from the date of this notice.
