Hudson Valley Tree, Incorporated, a/k/a Norma International 
Newburgh, New York; Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility To 
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance

    In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Notice of Certification 
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on May 
15, 1995, applicable to all workers of Hudson Valley Tree, 
Incorporated, Newburgh, New York. The notice was published in the 
Federal Register on May 25, 1995 (60 FR 27793).
    The State Agency reports that on January 1, 1996, a successor 
employer, Norma International, took over production operations at the 
subject firm. The workers are engaged in employment related to the 
production artificial Christmas trees, wreaths and garland.
    The intent of the Department's certification is to include all 
workers of Hudson Valley Tree, Incorporated who were adversely affected 
by increased imports. Accordingly, the Department is amending the 
certification for workers of the subject firm to indicate the successor 
employer.
    The amended notice applicable to TA-W-30,976 is hereby issued as 
follows:

    All workers of Hudson Valley Tree, Incorporated, a/k/a Norma 
International, Newburgh, New York who became totally or partially 
separated from employment on or after April 20, 1994 are eligible to 
apply for adjustment assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act 
of 1974.
