Secretary of Labor's Advisory Committee for Veterans' Employment 
and Training; Notice of Meeting

    The Secretary's Advisory Committee for Veterans' Employment and 
Training was established under Section 4110 of title 38, United States 
Code, to bring to the attention of the Secretary, problems and issues 
relating to veterans' employment and training.
    Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of Labor's Advisory 
Committee for Veterans' Employment and Training will meet on Thursday 
June 6, 1996 at the Disabled American Veterans National Service and 
Legislative Headquarters 807 Maine Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20024 
at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday June 7, 1996 in the Department of 
Labor Secretary's Conference Room, S-2508, 200 Constitution Avenue, 
N.W., Washington, D.C. at 8:30 a.m. to noon.
    Written comments are welcome and may be submitted by addressing 
them to: Mr. Thomas S. Keefe, Special Assistant, Office of the 
Assistant Secretary for Veterans' Employment and Training, U.S. 
Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room S1315, 
Washington, D.C. 20210.
    The primary items on the agenda are:
     Adoption of minutes of the previous meeting.
     Budget briefing--FY 1996 & 1997.
     Pending legislation (S 1711).
     National Skills Board briefing.
     Veterans Preference Issues.
     Office of the DOL Inspector General briefing on OFCCP.
     WREI video.
     Planning session of a fall Veterans Employment Forum.
    The meeting is open to the public.
