BLM received no comment from the public in response to that notice. Title: Mineral Materials Disposal (43 CFR part 3600). OMB approval number: 1004-0103. Abstract: The Bureau of Land Management is proposing to renew the approval of an information collection for the rule at 43 CFR part 3600. This rule manages the disposal of mineral materials such as sand, gravel, and petrified wood from public lands by sale or free use. Such disposals are made at the discretion of the Secretary of the Interior. The information that the regulations require an applicant or permittee to submit will be used by the BLM to determine if the disposal of materials is in the public interest, to mitigate environmental impacts of mineral materials development, to get fair market value for the materials sold, and to prevent trespass removal of the materials. Bureau Form Number: 3600-4 and 3600-5. Frequency: Generally once; annually for some. Description of respondents: Individuals or entities who want to purchase or use federally owned mineral materials. Estimated completion time: 0.25 hour (approx.) or 15 minutes for Form 3600-4; 0.8 hour (approx.) or 50 minutes for Form 3600-5. Annual responses: 3070. Annual burden hours: 1560.
