Additional Information Two copies of the Coordinating Committee charter are filed with appropriate committees of Congress and the Library of Congress and are available upon request. The purpose of the Coordinating Committee is to assist EPA in the development of regulations to control emissions of air pollutants from industrial, commercial, and institutional combustion of fuels and non-hazardous solid wastes. The regulations will cover boilers, process heaters, industrial/commercial and other (non-hazardous) waste incinerators, stationary internal combustion engines, and stationary gas turbines. The Coordinating Committee will provide a means for considering important regulatory issues and building stakeholder consensus on these issues prior to proposal. The Committee will establish Work Groups as necessary to fulfill these objectives. The EPA will recommend Work Group membership for approval by the Coordinating Committee at the October 1, 1996 Coordinating Committee meeting. However, it is expected that Work Group membership will remain open for a period of time so that adjustments can be made. The first Work Group organizational meetings will take place on October 2, 1996, beginning about mid- morning and will consist of two combined meetings. One Work Group meeting will be a combination of the boilers, process heaters, and incinerators Work Groups; the other Work Group meeting will be a combination of the stationary internal combustion engines and stationary gas turbines Work Groups. The Work Groups for Test Methods and Economics will also meet either separately or combined with one of the Work Groups mentioned above.
