[[Page 54628]] ACTION: Notice of meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the next meeting of the Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support (ARMS) Public/Private Task Force (PPTF). The PPTF is chartered to develop new and innovative methods to maintain the government-owned, contractor- operated ammunition industrial base and retain critical skills for a national emergency. This meeting will update attendees on the status of ongoing actions with decisions being made to close out or continue these actions. Goals will be set for the future of the PPTF. This meeting is open to the public. DATES OF MEETING: December 9-10, 1996. PLACE OF MEETING: Radison Quadcity Plaza, 111 E. 2nd Street, Davenport, Iowa 52801.
