SUMMARY: On July 1, 1996, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
published

in the Federal Register (at 61 FR 34001, FR Doc. 96-16398) a final rule
reorganizing, renumbering, and reinventing its regulations. This
document contains corrections to 29 CFR Parts 4000, 4022, and 4041 as
so published.

4041 contain errors that call for correction. This document corrects
those errors.

7. In Sec. 4041.2, the second and third sentences in the definition
of Proposed termination date are corrected to read: ``A proposed
termination date becomes the `termination date' if a plan terminates in
a standard termination. A proposed termination date specified in the
notice of intent to terminate or standard termination notice may not be
earlier than the 60th day, nor later than the 90th day, after the
issuance of the notice of intent to terminate.''
