Young Gas Storage Company, Ltd., Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

December 31, 1996.
    Take notice that on December 23, 1996, Young Gas Storage Company, 
Ltd. (Young), tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas 
Tariffs, Original Volume No. 1 the tariff sheets listed on attached 
Appendix A to the filing, to be effective December 31, 1996.
    Young states that the purpose of this compliance filing is to 
conform Young's tariff to the requirements of Order No. 582.
    Young further states that copies of this filing have been served on 
Young's jurisdictional customers and public bodies.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to make any protest with 
reference to said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.214 or 385.211 
of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests 
must be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make the protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public 
inspection.
