AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making 
filed on behalf of Range Broadcasting Company requesting the allotment 
of Channel 243A to Durango, Colorado, as its fourth local FM 
transmission service. Coordinates used for Channel 243A at Durango are 
37-16-57 and 107-52-36.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before March 10, 1997, and reply 
comments on or before March 25, 1997.
