Take notice that on February 18, 1997, Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company (Panhandle) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheet to be effective April 1, 1997: Sub First Revised Sheet No. 339 Panhandle asserts that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Commission's Order No. 587-B, Standards for Business Practices of Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines issued on January 30, 1997 in Docket No. RM96-1-003 by incorporating by reference into its Tariff the Electronic Delivery Mechanism Standards promulgated by the Gas Industry Standards Board and adopted by the Commission in Order No. 587-B. Panhandle states that copies of this filing are being served on all affected customers, applicable state regulatory agencies and parties to this proceeding. Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations.
