Sunshine Act Meeting

DATE AND TIME: March 11, 1997; 9:30 a.m.

PLACE: Cohen Building, Visitor's Center, First Floor, 330 Independence 
Ave., S.W., Washington, D.C. 20547.

OPEN MEETING: The members of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) 
will meet in open session to address a variety of issues relating to 
U.S. Government-funded non-military international broadcasting. Among 
the subjects on the agenda are the following: opening remarks by the 
BBG Chairman; approval of minutes of a previous meeting; remarks by 
Kevin Klose, Director-designate of the International Broadcasting 
Bureau; remarks by Evelyn Lieberman, new Director of the Voice of 
America; and miscellaneous subjects relating to the Board's 
responsibilities such as the annual report to the President and the 
Congress.
