ACTION: Notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The public comment period for the DEIS will be extended for 30 days from the date of this announcement's publication in the Federal Register. This 30-day extension is to provide all interested persons additional time to review and provide comments on the DEIS. The DEIS was originally released for a 90-day public comment period from the Department of the Army in 61 FR 63832 (Monday, December 2, 1996) and the Environmental Protection Agency in 61 FR 64742 (Friday, December 6, 1996).
