ACTION: Notice of public meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Coast Guard is undertaking an effort to identify the minimum requirements and capabilities a Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) must have to serve its wide range of users and to develop criteria to identify ports requiring a VTS. The first public meeting on these topics was held on January 15, 1997. The most recent was held on February 27, 1997. Several additional public meetings are planned.
