Carnegie Interstate Pipeline Company; Notice of Tariff Filing

March 27, 1997.
    Take notice that on March 24, 1997, Carnegie Interstate Pipeline 
Company (CIPCO), tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheet, with 
an effective date of February 1, 1997:

Substitute Twelfth Revised Sheet No. 7

    CIPCO states that the purpose of the filing is to reflect its 
currently effective Annual Charge Adjustment of $0.0019 per Dth and 
correct an error made in its filing to implement the settlement 
approved by the Commission in Docket No. RP96-81, et al.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed in 
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the public 
reference room.
