Take notice that on March 26, 1997, Pacific Gas Transmission Company (PGT) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1-A: Second Revised Sheet Nos. 37 through 39 and First Revised Sheet No. 40. PGT requested the above-referenced tariff sheets become effective April 26, 1997. PGT asserts that the purpose of this filing is to modify the methodology used for allocating capacity in its parking and lending services (Rate Schedules PS-1 and AIS-1, respectively) from a first- come, first-served methodology to an economic dispatch methodology, with pro-rata allocation as a tie-breaker. PGT further states that a copy of this filing has been served on PGT's jurisdictional customers and interested state regulatory agencies. Any person desiring to be heard or protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
