Background This request for proposals announces a third year of evaluation and research support on the Violence Against Women Act (Title IV) of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 and on related issues. This solicitation seeks research and evaluation proposals in two specific areas: practitioner-researcher partnerships and research on priority issues. These issues include evaluations of State antistalking efforts and legislation, welfare reform and its effects on domestic violence, victim advocacy, and media campaigns.
