Overthrust Pipeline Company; Notice of Tariff Filing

April 22, 1997.
    Take notice that on April 16, 1997, Overthrust Pipeline Company 
(Overthrust) tendered for filing and acceptance, as part of its FERC 
Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1-A, original and revised tariff 
sheets, to be effective June 1, 1997.
    Overthrust states that the filing is being filed in compliance with 
the Commission's March 14, 1997, Order on Compliance Filing.
    Overthrust states that the proposed tariff sheets, which are 
identified on Appendix A to the filing, implement the requirements of 
Order Nos. 587, 587-A and 587-B (Order 587) by revising provisions 
applicable to nominations, allocations, balancing, measurement, 
invoicing and capacity release as required by the Commission's March 14 
order.
    Overthrust states that it has revised various sections of the 
General Terms and Conditions of its tariff in order to implement the 
requirements of Order 587 and the March 14 order. More specifically, 
Overthrust has revised Section 1 (Definitions), Section 4 (Electronic 
Bulletin Board (EBB)), Section 8 (Capacity Release and Assignment), 
Section 13 (Measurement), Section 15 (Scheduling of Gas Receipts and 
Deliveries), Section 16 (Balancing of Gas) and Section 17 (Billing and 
Payment).
    Overthrust states that it has added a new Section 29 (GISB 
Standards) to the General Terms and Conditions. Overthrust has also 
revised the Table of Contents to reflect changes in the location of 
certain sections due to incorporation of the new and revised tariff 
provisions and the footnotes to the Statement of Rates.
    Overthrust states that a copy of this filing has been served upon 
its customers, and the Wyoming Public Service Commission.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests must be 
filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make Protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filling are 
on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
