Technology Transfer Act of 1986

AGENCY: U.S. Geological Survey, Interior.

ACTION: Notice of proposed Cooperative Research and Development 
Agreement (CRADA) negotiations.


SUMMARY: The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is planning to 
enter into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) 
with Application Software Technologies, Inc., Green Bay, Wisconsin. The 
purpose of the CRADA is to jointly research and develop Spatial Data 
Transfer Standard development tools for the Windows environment. Any 
other organization interested in pursuing the possibility of a CRADA 
for similar kinds of activities should contact the USGS.
