Amendment to a Notice of Availability of a Draft Coordinated 
Resource Management Plan (CRMP) and Environmental Impact Statement 
(EIS); Taos Resource Area, New Mexico and San Luis Resource Area, 
Colorado

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Amendment to notice.

SUMMARY: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Albuquerque District, Taos 
Resource Area and Canon City District, San Luis Resource Area have 
completed a Draft CRMP/EIS, and a Taos Resource Management Plan 
Amendment. This notice amends the Notice of Availability printed in the 
Federal Register on Friday, June 27, 1997 (Vol. 62, No. 124, 34771-72), 
adding a fourth public hearing in response to public interest, and 
extending the public comment period through October 20, 1997, to meet 
Environmental Protection Agency requirements.

DATES: Written comments must be postmarked no later than October 20, 
1997, and should be addressed to the CRMP Team Leader at the address 
below. Inaddition to the hearings announced in the June 27 Notice of 
Availability, formal oral comments will be received at the following 
public hearing, beginning at 7 p.m.: September 3, 1997--Dixon 
Elementary Gymnasium, State Road 75, Dixon, New Mexico.
