Notice of Meeting

    Notice is hereby given of the NIDCD Working Group on Early 
Identification of Hearing Impairment's Workshop on Universal Newborn 
Hearing Screening on September 4-5, 1997 at the Holiday Inn Chevy 
Chase, 5520 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase MD 20815. The meeting is 
being held to identify acceptable protocols for newborn hearing 
screening and will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on September 4, and from 8 
am to 12 pm on September 5.
    The entire meeting is open to the public. Individuals who plan to 
attend and need special assistance, such as sign language 
interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should contact Lynn 
Huerta, Ph.D., Division of Human Communication, NIDCD, EPS Room 400C,
