Koch Gateway Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

August 7, 1997.
    Take notice that on August 5, 1997, Koch Gateway Pipeline Company 
(Koch) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth 
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets:

Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 1407
Third Revised Sheet No. 1408

    Koch states that this filing is in compliance with the Commission's 
July 21, 1997, Letter Order in the above captioned proceeding. The 
revised tariff sheets will clarify that the period of time in which a 
qualifying request will be processed after receipt of such request is 
30 days.
    Koch also states that it has served copies of this filing upon each 
person on the official service list compiled by the Secretary in this 
proceeding.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's rules and regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided by Section 154.210 of the Commission's rules and regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room.
