AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filed by North 
Texas Broadcasting requesting the allotment of Channel 285C3 to 
Hamilton, Texas. Channel 285C3 can be allotted to Hamilton in 
compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation 
requirements with a site restriction 13.4 kilometers (8.3 miles) south. 
The coordinates for Channel 285C3 at Hamilton are 31-49-25 NL and 98-
06-49 WL.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before September 29, 1997, and 
reply comments on or before October 14, 1997.

    Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply 
to this proceeding.
