Take notice that on July 25, 1997, Cinergy Services, Inc. (Cinergy) tendered for filing a service agreement under Cinergy's Open Access Transmission Service Tariff entered into between Cinergy and Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L). Cinergy and CP&L are requesting an effective date of July 1, 1997. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 [[Page 45406]] and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 285.211 and 18 CFR 385.214).
