Los Angeles, California and NAFTA--01367A New York, New York; Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility To Apply for NAFTA-Transitional Adjustment Assistance In accordance with Section 250(a), Subchapter D, Chapter 2, Title II, of the Trade Act of 1974 as amended (19 USC 2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on January 29, 1997, applicable to all workers at California Fashions Industries, Inc. located in Los Angeles, California. The notice was published in the Federal Register on February 13, 1997 (62 FR 6806). At the request of the petitioners, the Department reviewed the certification for workers of the subject firm. New information received by the company shows that worker separations have occurred at the New York, New York location of California Fashions Industries, Inc. The New York, New York location is the showroom and sales office of California Fashions' production facility in Los Angeles, California. The workers are engaged in the production of ladies' garments. The intent of the Department's certification is to include all workers of California Fashions Industries, Inc. who were adversely affected by increased imports from Mexico. Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to cover the workers of California Fashions Industries, Inc., New York, New York. The amended notice applicable to NAFTA--01367 is hereby issued as follows: ``All workers of California Fashions Industries, Inc., Los Angeles, California [[Page 46778]] (NAFTA--01367), and New York, New York (NAFTA--01367A) who became totally or partially separated from employment on or after November 26, 1995, are eligible to apply for NAFTA-TAA under Section 250 of the Trade Act of 1974.''
