Take notice that on October 1, 1997, TransColorado Gas Transmission Company (TransColorado) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1-A, the following tariff sheets, to become effective October 1, 1997: Eighth Revised Sheet No. 30 TransColorado states that the above tariff sheet is being filed to implement negotiated rate contracts pursuant to the Commission's Statement of Policy on Alternatives to Traditional Cost-of-Service Ratemaking for Natural Gas Pipelines and Regulation of Negotiated Transportation Services of Natural Gas Pipelines issued January 31, 1996 at Docket Nos. RM95-6-000 and RM96-7-000. Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
