The invention available for licensing is: NIST Docket Number: 96-035. Title: Mechanical Support For A Two Pill Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigerator. Abstract: The invention uses two paramagnetic cooling materials, called pills, supported on only one side of a magnet. The design simplifies the support and provides more active pill area in the bore of the magnet.
