Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation [Docket No. ER97-4782-000] Take notice that on September 29, 1997, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (``NMPC''), tendered for filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission an executed Transmission Service Agreement between NMPC and Entergy Power Marketing Corp. This Transmission Service Agreement specifies that Entergy Power Marketing Corp. has signed on to and has agreed to the terms and conditions of NMPC's Open Access Transmission Tariff as filed in Docket No. OA96-194-000. This Tariff, filed with FERC on July 9, 1996, will allow NMPC and Entergy Power Marketing Corp. to enter into separately scheduled transactions under which NMPC will provide transmission service for Entergy Power Marketing Corp. as the parties may mutually agree. WWP requests waiver of the prior notice requirement and requests an effective date of September 1, 1997. Illinois Power Company [Docket No. ER97-4790-000] Take notice that on September 29, 1997, Illinois Power Company (``Illinois Power''), 500 South 27th Street, Decatur, Illinois 62526, tendered for filing firm transmission agreements under which Caterpillar Inc. will take transmission service pursuant to its open access transmission tariff. The agreements are based on the Form of Service Agreement in Illinois Power's tariff. Illinois Power has requested an effective date of September 19, 1997. Texas Utilities Electric Company [Docket No. ER97-4791-000] Take notice that on September 29, 1997, Texas Utilities Electric Company (TU Electric), tendered for filing an executed transmission service agreement (TSA) with Tenaska Power Services Company for certain Economy Energy Transmission Service transactions under TU Electric's Tariff for Transmission Service To, From and Over Certain HVDC Interconnections. TU Electric requests an effective date for the TSA that will permit it to become effective on or before the service commencement date under the TSA. Accordingly, TU Electric seeks waiver of the Commission's notice requirements. Copies of the filing were served on Tenaska Power Services Company, as well as the Public Utility Commission of Texas. [Docket No. ES98-1-000] Take notice that on October 8, 1997, Fall River Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Fall River) filed an application pursuant to section 204 of the Federal Power Act for authorization to issue a promissory note in the amount of $11,735,000 to National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative [Docket No. OA97-723-000] Take notice that on September 30, 1997, Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative (Lyon) filed a request for waiver of the requirements of Order No. 888 and Order No. 889 pursuant to 18 CFR 35.28(d) of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) Regulations.
