Rochester Gas & Electric Corp.; Notice of Meeting

November 7, 1997.
    Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation (RG&E) has applied to the 
Commission for a subsequent license for the Station 160 Project No. 
2596. The project is located on the Genesee River, in Livingston 
County, New York.
    RG&E and the New York State Department of Environmental 
Conservation (DEC) are in the process of negotiating terms and 
conditions for Section 401 water quality certification for the Station 
160 Project. RG&E and DEC have scheduled a meeting to facilitate the 
discussion. Commission staff will attend the meeting.
    Meeting Date: Monday, November 24, 1997 from 11:00 a.m.
    Location: New York State Department of Conservation offices, 50 
Wolf Road, Albany, New York.
    Meeting Scope: RG&E and DEC to discuss change in impoundment 
fluctuation at Station 2 and status of the 401 Water Quality 
Certification Settlement Agreement for Station 160.
