Professional Electric Cutting Tools From Japan: Extension of Time
Limit for Final Results of Review
AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration,
Department of Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of extension of final results of antidumping duty
review.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (``the Department'') is extending
the final results for the antidumping duty review of professional
electric cutting tools from Japan. This review covers the period July
1, 1995 through June 30, 1996.
EFFECTIVE DATE: January 20, 1998.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On December 16, 1997, the Department
published in the Federal Register its decision that it would extend the
deadline for the final results of review by 32 days until January 7,
1998 (see 62 FR 65796). The Department has now determined that it is
not practicable to issue its final results within that time limit (See
Decision Memorandum from Joseph A. Spetrini, Deputy Assistant
Secretary, Enforcement Group III to Robert LaRussa, Assistant Secretary
for Import Administration). The Department is extending the time limit
for completion of the final results for the full 60 days available
until February 4, 1998 in accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the
Act.
