                                regulatory reform review adopted by the 
                                Telecommunications Act of 1996.

                                Broadcast Satellite Service.            
                               SUMMARY: The Commission will consider    
                                action concerning the rules governing   
                                the direct broadcast satellite service. 
4..........  Common Carrier..  TITLE: Implementation of the             
                                Telecommunications Act of 1996;         
                                Telecommunications Carriers' Use of     
                                Customer Proprietary Network Information
                                and Other Customer Information (CC      
                                Docket No. 96-115); Implementation of   
                                the Non-Accounting Safeguards of        
                                Sections 271 and 272 of the             
                                Communications Act of 1934 (CC Docket   
                                No. 96-149).                            
                               SUMMARY: The Commission will consider    
                                action concerning the use and protection
                                of customer proprietary network         
                                information under Section 222 of the    
                                Telecommunications Act.
