AGENCY: International Trade Administration, Commerce.

ACTION: Renewal of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory 
Committee.

SUMMARY: The delegate of the Secretary of Commerce renewed the 
Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC). The 
renewal of the Committee is in accordance with the Federal Advisory 
Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. 2, and 41 CFR Parts 101-5.10 (1990), 
Federal Advisory Committee Management Rule.
    The ETTAC was established by the Secretary of Commerce on May 31, 
1994, to advise the Secretary of Commerce in his capacity as the 
Chairman of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee (TPCC), as well 
as other TPCC heads and officials on issues related to the export of 
environmental technologies.
    The Committee functions as an advisory body in accordance with the 
Federal Advisory Committee Act. On October 22, 1994, the Congress 
passed the Jobs Through Trade Enhancement Act, 15 U. S.C. 4728(c). This 
Act mandated the creation of such an advisory committee on 
environmental technologies exports.
